I love the freedom of being immersed in the landscape of a distant location. I am especially inspired by finding a new special spot to paint and interacting with the landscape and the people. Even though the elements can get in the way, there is an exhilartion of being part of nature. It sometimes gets pretty interesting! I've painted in places ranging from a rental car in the driving rain on the beach in Spain, to a mosquito -infested marsh on Cape Cod. I hope you enjoy the journey.
