Cape Cod has always been a special place for me. From 2004 to 2010 I had a summer house called 'Rowbanks' that was known for its beautiful woods and gardens. Summers are especially magical, when the golden light holds until late into the evening. Unfortunately some of the locations I've painted are no longer accessible by car, owing to shifting tides and storms. Yet that is what makes plein air pieces special- they capture a moment in time. I first learned plein air painting in Truro, home of Edward Hopper. I hope I can offer a glimpse of the magestic beauty of the place I will always love.
Prices are available upon request starting at $300 for small pieces (5x7) and up. Commissions gladly accepted.
